Work together with the young person and their support network to identify the strategies and approaches that will help them make progress toward their preferred goals.

Ensure the young people and those supporting them are equipped with the knowledge and resources they need to effectively implement and imbed the skills developed through the intervention.

Draw on the 5 principles of trauma-informed practice: Safety, Trustworthiness, Choice, Collaboration & Empowerment.

Utilise the principles of Repairing Harm, Accountability, Reducing Risk, Stakeholder Involvement, and Community Partnership.
